I am a wife, mother, veteran and debut indie author. I live in Alaska with my husband, son, cats, large dogs (and a few chickens). My hobbies include reading, playing Pathfinder, hiking, fishing, laughing at my husband’s jokes (or just at him) and keeping my toddler from faceplanting off of something he shouldn’t have climbed on in the first place.

I write military fantasy, but what is that? Military fantasy is a subgenre of Epic Fantasy. It focuses on tactics, weapons, and military life as influenced by magic and fantastical creatures. Think MilSciFi but less spaceships and ion blasts, more dragons and fireballs. My works are heavily inspired by my personal experience in the military, my love for history, and my obsession with all things fantasy.
